Back in 1997, Classic Bike magazine in the UK ran a feature on the V7 Sport that belonged to one of their contributors, superb motorcycle journalist Mick Phillips. He found the bike after looking for a while for a Sport, and then stumbled across this one.
His story was fantastic, as he described going into the living room of a house to see the Sport, in pieces, but already 99% restored, laying on the floor on a sheet. Like a dream for most of us that never comes true..he put it back together over time and still has the bike with him in Rome, where he now lives. Mick has been in contact and has promised more writing on the bike in the future. A privilege for sure..
