ITALIAN DAY - ACE CAFE, LONDON - 2005

For those who don't know, the Ace Cafe was a roadside cafe on the North Circular Road in North London and became famous as a meeting place for original rockers and ton-up boys in the late 50s and 1960s. It has now been revived over the last ten years and has become a great bikers venue. One of its regular events is Italian Day, there's a Ducati lorry with test bikes, and lots of Italian bikes.

i went on my S3 and my mate Adam went on his Lodola (pic below). We had the pleasure of meting Bedwyr who had come from the Bristol area with loads of mates on Guzzis. Bedwyr's S3 is the green one below, it has a 950 motor and is very nice.

I was a bit disappointed, there weren't that many bikes, maybe I went too late (midday), but here's a few pics of what was there. Highlight of the day was a bloke on a Suzuki Bandit doing stunts on the slip road in front of the Ace. Irresponsible and dangerous (well I have to say that), but admittedly entertaining and he seemed to be in control.
